Even though I had to bow out due to a holiday timing mix-up, they used my earrings on the flyer anyway. Timing, I guess. Go see and support a fledgling new venture. It’ll grow and grow with community support.
I’m adding a Tutorial section to the blog.
The first one will be How To do safe, effective Salt Water Etching on Copper. The link to the Tutorials is in the menu bar above.
Metal Rocks! was a good show. The Tett Centre was hopping, with the annual Pottery Guild show, a pop-up holiday shop, dance classes, music instrument lending library, children’s creative club. We were on the first floor, which in that building is two floors below the entrance level — but on a direct path to the Cafe. There were lots of people browsing steadily for most of the day on Saturday. Sunday was slower.
Here’s part of my display. The pendant and earrings on the left were made with petrified coral.
More of my work.
